Life Size 100 cm 39 inch Galacon Mascot Canni Soda

There she is, my very first completed pony plush, and she is going to be up at the Galacon 2016 charity auction!

She was very fun to make, and the result of several months of intensive trying and learning the pony plush making craft that has become my dream to achieve since I began seeing these magnificent creatures made by other artists. I can hardly believe that I actually managed to do it, it truly feels like a dream, but the love and sweat put into it has paid off! And from here on, the path can only lead forward. I will do my best to improve in this craft and see what the future holds in store!

Specifics:

• 100 cm (39 inches) from hoof to top of her mane, and 120 cm (47 inches) length from nose to tail end;
• 7kg (15 pounds) weight;
• Made with super soft Shannon Cuddle 3 minky;
• Cutie Mark appliqued with minky;
• Eyes appliqued with satin for extra shiny and smooth look with 3D felt eyelashes;
• Flat hooves and a bag of poly pellets in each leg for added weight and stability;
• Stuffed medium hardness, allowing display in different positions but being soft enough to feel nice and cuddly.

She has no wires, hence the pillow to position the tail better for the pictures, as otherwise it moves around and unfortunately her head is unable to stand on its own, so it requires some kind of support if she is standing on four legs. It stands up just fine if she is positioned sitting though.
Also, I have a very very tiny room with bad lighting, no other place to make photos and only a phone camera (the latter will be fixed by the next project), so the pictures are not as high quality as they could be and I had to do some photo editing (which I am not good at) to make them brighter. Apologies for the relatively low photo quality.


I must admit I would not be here on this path if it was not for the help and support of other amazing plush makers, who made me believe that this was possible when I was almost giving up on my dream, so some thanks are in order!
